From each blade of grass on the map, to every windowsill in any given town, to any one of the 40+ creatures, all of it was hand drawn here at the Papertank studio.
Years of being told doodling monsters and fantastical creatures was a waste of our time is not a unique experience for most artists. However, it’s only once in a while that you get to relish in the knowledge that they were wrong.
We were approached by Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in partnership with Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, to help them develop a new app for the children receiving treatment. Unusually for a project of this size and it’s intended audience, the project had a very open brief that allowed for a lot of creative freedom.
